Prior to renovation at 52 White Street, James Fuentes is pleased to present a one-time exhibition of portraits by Juanita McNeely. The practice of portraiture and self-portraiture lie at the heart of McNeely's work. In the spirit of her earliest years in the city, following the tradition of artist cooperatives and DIY initiatives in which she was enmeshed, we present McNeely's paintings observing many of her loved ones and close contemporaries from this time onward.

Following this project, 52 White Street will reopen to the public in early 2023.
